Micro Market Business Centre provides Unix fundamentals and Administration training for individuals and for corporate groups.

The Solaris Fundamentals course is designed to be an introductory course for new users of the Solaris Operating Environment. It provides an overview of the workstation and the operating environment features, as well as critical skills in the use of the environment features and utilities. You will learn how to use commands and graphical user interface (GUI) tools to perform work and customize the environment to meet your requirements.

The UNIX Administration course is training for UNIX users who desire to increase their skill set to include basic UNIX  Operating System-based system administration and/or work effectively in a multi-vendor UNIX local or networked environment. It is not a vendor-specific course, but is based on the most popular of the UNIX variants, Solaris by Sun Microsystems.

The Advanced System Administration for the Unix Operating Environment course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform network basics, manage virtual file systems and core dumps, manage storage volumes, control access and configure system messaging, set up naming services, and perform installation procedures.
