Applied Military Science

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the presentation by Ms. Paola Lockett on Excel 2003 Module 1 and 2 to the students of the Department of Applied Military Science (AMS) from 30 Jul to 03 Aug 07. The content of her lectures was extremely informative and was an absolute benefit to all in attendance.

The presentations detailed the buttonology of Excel 2003 and complemented the information needed by the students this year at AMS. It provided them with an informative and meaningful overview of creating workbooks, shortcut keys, and making charts and how to use the program with ease. Of particular note was the information provided about the filtering of data which is possible within the cells. It provided many meaningful examples of the type of innovation and complexity the students can expect in the future.

On behalf of the staff and students at AMS, I would like to express our collective thanks to Ms. Paola Lockett for the her efforts and for this insightful and timely contribution to our programme. It is very beneficial for the development of the students to have subject matter experts, such as Ms. Paola Lockett, available to deliver the value added practical content as part of our academic programme. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of AMS as it is an essential element of the "AMS Advantage" that we give our graduates and it is truly appreciated.
